This Theatre House/Salon began is construction in 1920, operating since 1922 and being completed in 1933. In the following decades, it was transformed in to a multipurpose entertainment hall in Ribeira Grande, hosting a great variety of cultural events.
The town bought it, in 1988, in 2000 it was re-opened tu public after being remodeled and expanded (Hermano Teodoro)
